We have the first officially named Overwatch League team

The Shanghai Dragons start the ball rolling.

Blizzard has shared the first officially named Overwatch League team, this the Shanghai Dragons, a team owned by NetEase. We also got a new logo with the announcement, which you can see below.

"In Chinese culture, the dragon symbolizes the spirit of that which is sacred, powerful, and supreme," the team's official press release says. "The Shanghai Dragons' logo combines the team's name and a dragon figure to call upon the history of this symbol. The letter S outlined by the body of the dragon represents Shanghai, and the smooth line design is a nod to the strategic skill and flexibility of the team. Furthermore, red is present as a theme color for the Shanghai Dragons' logo in order to emphasise its Chinese connection."

We'll get more information on the Shanghai Dragons soon, including, we hope, a lineup. Do you like this new team?
