Zelda och PSVR var bäst på Tokyo Game Show 2017

CESA som organiserar Tokyo Game Show presenterar vid varje mässa Japan Game Awards 2017. Det är dock ett annorlunda upplägg kontra motsvarigheterna under E3 och Gamescom med färre spel och priser som dessutom delas ut till produkter som redan har släppts.

Tyngsta priset, bäst på mässan, vanns av The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Det är andra året i rad det vinner och det vann även alla ålderskategorier. Sony gick inte heller hem tomhänta utan rode hem specialpriset för Playstation VR med motiveringen:

"Playstation VR won this year's Special Award for the overwhelming sense of presence produced in conjunction with proprietary 3D audio technology, which delivers an experience where the player feels as though they are inside the game world, as well as expanding the potential of games and presenting players with new ways of enjoying games."

FIFA 17 blev bästa utländska produkt, och NIntendo tog även hem pris för Pokémon Sun and Moon i kategorierna Best Sales Award samt Global Award for Japanese Product. Till sist fick dessa elva spel utnämnelse Award of Excellence:
